Who We Are

Founded in 1973, we are currently the only private and independent laboratory performing clinical analyses in the city of Setúbal. Our strategy aims for excellence in performance. We prioritize human relationships with efficiency, dedication, and close contact in the healthcare services we provide. We have qualified and experienced staff and state-of-the-art laboratory technology, which guarantees the quality of our analytical results.

We have always based our practice on two parameters:

  • Ongoing training of our human resources,
  • Rigorous quality control of the analyses we perform.

Throughout these 50 years, we have prioritized human relationships.

Quality and Certification

Following a long tradition of commitment to quality, Precilab implemented a Quality Management System that culminated in its Quality Certification in July 2003.

Quality Control

Internal Quality Control (IQC) and External Quality Assessment (EQA) programs aim to ensure the quality of the results of the analyses performed.

CQI is implemented in all areas of the laboratory, as is AEQ, conducted with various partners, such as the Spanish Society of Clinical Chemistry (SEQC), the Ricardo Jorge National Institute of Health (INSA), and RANDOX (RIQAS Programs).

Certification

Since 2003, we have held dual quality certifications according to the ISO 9001 standard and the Clinical Laboratory Standards of the Order of Pharmacists.
